Cancellation Policy

Training & Behaviour Services Policy By booking a service with Devoted Dogs, you agree to the following terms. Booking & Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received. Cancellations Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full. Missed group classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Arrival Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session. Health & Welfare Dogs must be fit and healthy to attend. Please inform us of any illness, injury, recent veterinary treatment, allergies or dietary requirements. Dogs must be vaccinated (including kennel cough where appropriate) or have suitable titre testing. Safety & Equipment Owners are responsible for their dog's behaviour and control at all times. We recommend a flat collar with ID tag, a well-fitted Y-shaped harness, and may use a long line where appropriate. We use reward-based methods only. Shock collars, prong collars, tightening slip leads, restrictive harnesses and spray deterrents are not permitted. Flexi leads may be replaced with more suitable equipment during sessions. Training Environment Sessions may take place at home, training venues or in public. Owners must provide a safe environment, disclose any hazards, and comply with local laws. Dogs must remain on lead in public unless agreed otherwise. Behaviour & Veterinary Care Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting or significant behavioural concerns before sessions. We may recommend veterinary assessment and, with permission, liaise with your vet where appropriate. Children & Attendees Children must be supervised. Please advise us if additional people will attend. The primary handler must be able to safely manage the dog. Weather Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled if weather compromises safety or welfare. Media Photos or videos may be taken for training or record keeping. They will not be used for marketing without your explicit consent. Liability Working with dogs carries inherent risks. Owners accept responsibility for their dog's behaviour and agree to follow all guidance provided. Devoted Dogs cannot be held liable for injury, damage or loss caused by a dog during or after training. As outcomes depend on consistent implementation outside sessions, specific behavioural results cannot be guaranteed.
