Our training and behaviour services are designed to provide tailored, professional support for you and your dog. This policy applies to all services, including one-to-one sessions, classes, consultations, and training held in public or private settings. By booking a service with Devoted Dogs, you agree to the following terms: Booking & Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session or course space. Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received. Cancellations & Rescheduling We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full. For group classes or courses, missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise and will always aim to be fair where possible. Arrival & Punctuality Please ensure you arrive on time for your session or class. Late arrival may result in a shortened session, as we may not be able to extend beyond the allocated time. Health & Welfare Dogs must be fit and healthy to attend sessions. Please inform us in advance of any illness, injury, or recent veterinary treatment. We require all dogs to be up to date with vaccinations (including kennel cough where applicable) or have appropriate titre testing. Please inform us of any known allergies or dietary sensitivities your dog has, particularly where food rewards may be used during training. Where necessary, owners may be asked to provide suitable treats. Please also notify us of any relevant human allergies (e.g. to dogs or food items) so we can make appropriate adjustments where possible. Safety & Equipment Owners are responsible for maintaining control of their dog at all times during sessions. As standard, we recommend: • A flat collar fitted so that two fingers can comfortably fit underneath, with an ID tag attached as a legal requirement • A well-fitted harness (preferably Y-shaped) with two-finger space under straps For recall training and safety, we may use a long line attached to a harness as best practice. We use ethical, reward-based training methods and do not support the use of aversive or restrictive equipment. The following items are not permitted during sessions: • Shock collars (e-collars) • Prong or pinch collars • Slip leads used as a tightening device • Spray-based deterrents (e.g. citronella or compressed air) • Tightening or restr
